Beaches
Beaches in Italy are well organized. Unlike public beaches in the United States, most are operated by beach clubs. There will be many competing clubs along the same strip of beach. For a fee you can rent lounge chairs and umbrellas. Restroom and changing/shower facilities are included. Most will have an excellent quality restaurant/bar where food and drink can be purchased for sit down or to go.
There are several beaches close to the house ( 10-15 minutes) that are lovely.
Some of our favorite beaches are a little farther north of the house. Both beaches have excellent restaurants.
